You know it’s a hell of a season when you get 67 points and STILL face a red arrow!
An actually decent week with Captain Sanchez getting a goal, cleansheet and 3 bonus points. Heaton contributed nicely with 10 points whilst Ibra and Defoe got a goal each, with Hazard nabbing an assist.
However, all of those paled in comparison to the hauls of Harry Kane, who got a hattrick, and Chelsea’s Alonso, who scored 2 goals and got a cleansheet to earn his owners a whopping 21 points! Eriksen and Alli, together with the Spurs fullbacks, also contributed with a great performance against West Brom.
Kane and Alonso’s mega-hauls punished non-owners, as both were quite popular players and highly owned. Eriksen and Alli’s prices have been soaring too, with Spurs having a decent little run coming up.
To compound matters further, my most expensive player in the game, Kun, completely failed as City got demolished 4-0 by Everton. Early thoughts are to transfer Kun out for Lukaku or Costa (if his future is sorted over the next few days) or Giroud (if he is fit).
Hazard is also looking like a waste of funds given his paltry returns compared to his much cheaper colleagues Willian and Pedro.
Gonna mull over it a bit more.
